This weekend sees the final beta of sea of thieves for all those of you interested it runs until 10am gmt on sunday and is open to anyone if you want to try it without buying it, beta client can be downloaded from the ms store.

I don't think it's a bad game by any means, but it seems to reward playing in a group.

Nothing wrong with that at all, but anyone who knows my flying in Elite knows that this pony rides solo.

Game was ok but it is pretty much just like playing in open at CGs, almost everyone is out to kill you especially those in the big ships with more crew.

Seems to depend on your instance, me and a friend spent our evening in a two man boat chasing down the four man boats who wouldn't stand their ground and fight

Me and my mates played in each of the alphas and scale tests for about 4-5h each day and there was only 1-2 instances where people didn't attack us (this was in the first alpha and we saw no players at all).

Overall the game was fun but got boring quite quickly because of the lack of private modes.
