Nono he needs to make a sacrifice to RNG. Buy meat ��, as much of it as you can fit in your hold and then release it over the engineer you are trying to gain a blessing from. Totally works.
If it doesn’t work, try dropping platinum. 300 tonnes should do.

I recently returned to the bubble to fetch another Ship & made a few Engineering trips... and it almost seemed to me that the "every subsequent roll will be better than the existing one" Idea was already in effect (?)
I only had to make sure I applied each better one and re-roll.

Almost made me think it might in order to invest more time to try getting me "god-rolls" that way.

Ive cloned my first born.. so i dont got that issue.

My 'vette has some pretty nice rolls.

Course, in a bid to avoid schlepping it around the galaxy, I fitted most of it's components to my Anaconda, got them engineered and then swapped them back.

Which, in itself, was a bit ironic since I ended-up enjoying my "battle-conda" so much that I'm probably going to end up outfitting it as similarly to the 'vette as possible.

#1 Rule of RNG. Always roll with an attitude. That will scare the engineers to know not to screw up your roll because they don't want to mess with you.

Is this ok for shields?

That's in 7A standard shields, and 5 boosters (2 heavy duty grade 4&5, 3 Res augmented grade 3).

I can improve them a bit once I re-gather the needed materials I just wasted on 'meh' rolls. Lol

I've 7C Bi-weaves that slap the spit out of that one. Of course, that's with all decent grade 5 rolls. :3

Not bad for a bunch of grade 3-5 work.

(And an average mod is still a nice improvement over unmodded).

i still think sandro's statement is missunderstood,
and the only thing that is guaranteed in the future, is that a grade 5 roll i better then a grade 4...
but i may be wrong :D

I know. But when you do 10~ rolls, I do expect to actually get at least 1 above average roll. :p

Incidentally, I got a god roll on my PD charge enhanced 5. Lol

I did a bit of an experiment with about fifty rolls for DD5. It appeared that there was a less than 10% chance of getting 135+.

I got two 137's if I recall and kept one. So less than 5% chance for 137 and no luck on anything over that. Would need more rolls to try to see what would happen if/when that 140 showed.

This was a Corvette-sized thruster but I believe I was in my Anaconda so maybe Anacondas are cursed as well or just that thruster size?

Sometimes I get the feeling that a hard wall has been put in place for some of these mods (cue the tin foil hat comments).

My Power Distributor is cursed, I've lost count on how many times I've rolled my PD and still haven't got a good roll on it on top of that it's a nightmare to get those EFC.
