Hey all,
I noted elsewhere that people were experiencing an issue with buying commodities off their FC.... the issue being that if you buy, say, 700t of steel from your FC, it doesn't appear in your cargohold.... then when you arrive at a Colonisation ship, you can't unload without relogging.
Here's a workaround for you: Buy 1t less than you need, then transfer that last tonne from your FC into your ship. Whatever the mechanical difference is, the transfer does a "hard refresh" of your cargo hold, and you'll see the contents update immediately.
So basically, buy everything you need from your FC bar 1t of whatever you need... then transfer that last tonne through the transfer interface. Clunky, but less time consuming than doing a straight transfer or relogging.
Hope that helps someone
[1] which is generally considered faster than using the Transfer function due to the lack of accelleration to transfer volumes
