Does your CMDR name change with PSN account name change? Not really that bothered about First Discovery tags staying with my original, but I do get shot at a lot with my current PSN/CMDR name - mainly by Trump supporters lol

Elite dangerous on PSN uses PSN ID it does not USE Frontier ID in game... Thats why you have to link PSN account to Frontier ID when you start your play thought because the game Uses PSN ID...
The game will change PSN ID it will not change Frontier ID to change frontier account name means changing your frontier account name on PC...

The only reason I would change my PSN name right now was if it did indeed change my CMDR name as well. Otherwise there is no point. Even then, I'm not pulling the trigger right away... I'd hate to break something just to get a "cool" name.

Wont be changing...
Put to many hours in to warframe and Killzone to risk losing there DLC and addons in a name change. never mind if ED works those games are listed as effected with issues so no way do I want stats and DLC lost...
Not risking losing the frame builds, yea its way more fun now that K&M issues are finaly fixed, but be no fun starting from zero...

Good thing I made a separate psn for ED and eventually made it my main. I have a old psn account with lvl 14 trophys and old "friends", i'll most likely change the name and use that psn for FPS games or GTA V.

No such thing as "All the good names are taken". Just be creative and make one up especially for sci fi.

The _ is a powerful replacement for the space, and surprisingly rarely used. My alt has a very "normal" (and cool) name based on a RL pirate, all thanks to the underscore.

Can I clarify, if I change my PSN name my Commander name will change as will my listing as first discovered etc. Is this correct?
