PSVR Support (2D Virtual Screen with Head Tracking)

I'm the owner of a PS4 and I'm aware that although Frontier wants to include VR support for the PS4 version of the game, that might not be possible due to the processing power of the console. So I think one thing that could be added would be a virtual 2D screen with Head Tracking for PSVR. That would be like a TrackIR in a physical screen but instead in a virtual screen (like a better version of PSVR Cinematic Mode with HeadTracking). Although is not true VR, it would considerably increase the immersion for console owners. I believe a lot of PSVR users who don't own the game yet, would consider getting the game if such functionality were to be introduced.

I would love to see Elite on PSVR but given all the work going into Beyond I thinks it’s unlikely we’ll get anything PSVR related anytime soon. We can still hope though! :)

For your idea though I think this could be done by Sony rather than FDev. Sony would just have to enable a version of Cinema mode that sticks to your view in PSVR and then enable the sensors on the headset to be able to control Free View in games such as Elite or any other game that has free view, maybe driving sims, FPS, flight sims, etc. Might be worth suggesting on the Sony forums as well.
