Purchasing beta as a gift?

Yes what you can do is make a new account for whoever you wish to gift to then buy the beta using that account 
Well, I set up an account using his email address, and did it.
I got the payment confirmation and receipt from Frontier - and I've let his son know what I've done so he doesn't think it's a scam or anything like that.
Fingers crossed it'll all go through smoothly
