Hi! its been a wonderful beta, and the game's launch is around the corner; however, i've noticed a few things that don't quite settle right that might also be abraisive to other gamers too.
I would like to begin with the endgame sustainability.
you have Anacondas and Lakon T-9s and ships of similiar calibre, but the price of maintaining these wonderful works of art seems out of scale with the money that you make. i have many beloved friends who have been fortunate enough to obtain a Type 9, who i notice making comments about the 500k re-fuel price and the, this next comment comes from only a single friend, 3 mil wear and tear price. Although i do know that wear and tear is busily being tweaked away and so does he, he comments by saing that there is no way he will spend an hour's pay to repair and the three mil that he gets per hour only if he "is lucky enough". Now some of you by now are thinking about how spoiled he and we were when we could trade rare commodities, and to some degree we were; he could easily make 8 mil in a single run with the right outfitting. I can't say im innocent of trading myself. I was once a T-6 trader, and i am now enjoying this new asp that i obtained through rare trade. much more roomy! expanding into new space did the same with my goals. i was going to be perfectly content in an asp beforehand for i had thought it implausible to reach any other ship in any realistic amount of time. the ability to make 1.6 mil in a run however, changed my mind towards the Python. now that rare trading is now never, ill be enjoying my time in my asp. The point is is that it just seems astronomically unreal to fly and maintain a few dozen-million ship when i can barely scrape together 150k a run. I had this view before and after rare commods, and i think that others will too once they finally get to this point in the game.
It might seem like im constricting myself to only one part of the game, but the contrary is actually true. I have done it all: combat, smuggling, trading, making 1.4 mil off of mining and grinding(how i got my "six fix"(T-6)), exploring Nebulae (ill provide a link), the works.
I dont want to seem like some casual,I just want to have fun playing other games too.
other viewpoints are greatly appreciated, as i feel as if i dont have the full perspective that others may posses or gift to me.
but please, if you don't have anything nice to say, dont say it. keep it constructive.
