Pushing Colonia forward

Currently Colonia is a bit weak in therms of modules and surrounding Stations.
Is it possible to push the system development by filling their demands?
Like sending trading caranvans out bringing all their demanded wares etc.

Sadly the background simulation (BGS) isn't advanced enough for something like that.

Systems and stations have to be updated manually by the developers and this is "often" done after having a successful community goal (CG).

In a recent stream from the developers it was mentioned that there will be more CGs and events in Colonia - maybe those will include something to increase the system development in Colonia.

I think it would be a big thing if we could in fact place stations our self.
It would be a real end game/guild thing to push those projects.
I just remember X3 Reunion wbere you could go crazy with those stations.

Yeap bgs doesn't develop systems at all. It just change modifier. All trading do is help the faction controlling the station to gain more influence in system and what bgs state is next. BGS has nothing to do with modules, ships, economy of system, services available. bgs can only temporary close some services, change what missions spawn and commodity prices/availability.

BGS needs work should be applied everywhere and then colonia becomes a bit moot and unnecessary but can still continue to develop
