General Put the 6A V1 Pre-Engineered FSD at a Tech Broker in Colonia.

Greetings CMDRs.

I think the 6A V1 pre-engineered FSD should be made available to the player base. I understand there are many modules that are CG exclusive rewards, and that mechanic entices players to participate and to keep playing. However a few modules which were originally CG rewards have been made available to the player base and I think that this should be one of them.

This modules is only really used in 3 ships, will be primarily used by Anaconda explorers, and does not offer any significant advantages in terms of PVP or XP gain. It gives an 8.3% increase in jump range, which on paper does not seem like very much but to explorers doing 1000+ jump expeditions, Colonia runs, or fuel rescue, this slight increase can really add up to a quality of life upgrade. Typical Anaconda builds will allow for a 6+ ly increase per jump and over 24lys per neutron boost with this module, and again over the lifetime of a CMDR, these numbers really add up.

I think it would be a cool idea to make this module available via a Tech Broker in Colonia, and make it as or more material intensive as the 5A V1 FSD. This would entice players who may not of previously made the trip to Colonia to do so and ensures the module still requires some effort to attain. As this module was a reward for CMDRs completing the Colonia Bridge and seeing how Colonia already has a couple exclusive ship enhancements (G4 Shield Cell Bank, G5 Life Support), I think this makes approach makes a lot of sense.

I would also like to add I think this module should be considered for general release simply because it impacts a fundamental aspect of the game which all players take part in no matter their preferred discipline; travel.

Let's not forget the 3A and 4A versions as well. They are very useful for a lot of ships, but even after so much time, they still haven't appeared at tech brokers, and only those people have them who did the CG(s). There seems to be no good reason to hold them back when the class 5 double-engineered FSDs are available, but it appears the developers have forgotten about adding these to the brokers too. Pass this along to them please, @sallymorganmoore ? Class 3 and 4 FSDs are widely used on ships built for planetary exploration.

Just make the “Fast Charge + Mass Manager” additional affect on the pre-engineered FSD a new Experimental that anyone can put on any FSD.

personally I am fine with time limited cosmetics..... but actual in-game equipment should absolutely be earnable in-game somehow.... esp stuff which is objectively better.
I only recently learned that some players have improved thargoid fighting weapons which can not be earned in-game if you missed a CG. that is really poor imo.

Can i get some legacy engineering effects as well?
Light weight and Flow Control for sensors?
Increase maximum mass for shields?
and maybe some other that escape me now, but were present in Legacy engineering but didnt made it into the current engineering - but are still available to the players that got them back then.

Yep, an antique/rare technology broker in Colonia - would definitely pay a visit.
