PvE Anaconda Weapon Loadout

Currently rocking 2x C3 Gimballed Pulse on top, 1 turret C3 Pulse on bottom, 1 C3 Burst turret on bottom, 2x C1 pulse turrets, 2x C2 multi cannon turrets.

It gets the job done, but feels like it could be better. Please send me your recommendations.

I've mostly been running missions trying to grind rank for a clipper recently but for pve HazRes my load out is:
2 Large Gimballed beams, one in the huge slot and one in the lower large slot
2 large cannons in the remaining large slots
2 medium cannons in the two medium slots
And 2 Torpedo tubes in the small slots

The beams eat shields quick, and with both size cannons I use the size most appropriate for my opponent. Small-Medium + fast and agile: medium cannons
Medium-Large + slow: large cannons
And the Torps are for fun/SHTF scenarios

Probably not the most effective but I like the versatility

Tried a number of configurations two of my favourites are:

1x Huge PA, 3x Large Pulse, 2x Medium Multicannon, 2x small torp.

For small ships it's lasers to take down the shields, then bring in the multicannon to shred the hull.

For large ships it's lasers and PA against the shields then hit the power plant with lasers and multicannon, firing the PA if I get a shot.

The torps are there if I bite off more than I can chew.

Also tried an all pulse laser setup. Packs quite a punch and you don't run out of ammo.

2 Large beams topside, 2 medium beams in the side mounts, all turreted. Several fire groups to control which is fired.

Also a pair of large gimbal cannons in the ventral slots. Small slots are empty.

Both C3 Cannons will be mounted under the belly.

304T cargo and 28DPS = $$$

This is my templated, life in the bubble, Jack of all trades Conda build. Currently rocking the previously posted build but the higher DPS on this appeals to me. Feedback anyone?

This is my current build for my PvE Conda.

I always target the powerplant on any ship with a hull cost over that of the vulture. When horizons drops *Cough* May 17th *Cough* I'll be switching the fixed beam for a huge fixed multi and one of the scbs for a vehicle hanger.
The small hardpoints are really up to you what you use, I just like having warm food, after a few hours of course...

I don't have that type of coin at my disposal currently, but I agree overall with your Horizons modifications.

I'm thinking 2x C3 Multi on top, C4 Pulse and C3 Pulse on lower, 2xC2 Pulse turrets, and 2x C1 whatever Im feeling at the moment.

2 C3 gimballed Pulses on the top, 2 C2 gimballed Beams on the sides. 1 C3 Adv Plasma, 1 C4 Plasma & 2 C1 torpedo racks underneath. Torpedo's are purely for finishing things off that are about to jump away or get out of weapon range because the Anaconda is slow. The Pulses and Beams can handle just about everything by themselves without issue. The Plasma Accelerators are there for a bit of extra burst damage to bring down SCB spamming enemies and help against larger foes.

With Horizons coming out soon, let's real new Anaconda combat builds. I think we are all excited about the C3 and C4 multi canons, but I'm also excited about the cannon and missile buff.

2x C3Beam on top, 2x C2Pulse Turrets, 1x C3 Multi, 1x C4 Multi, 2x C1Seeker Missiles.
OR
Switch the beams with the multis in their respective sizes.

For res hunting I'm using pulse turrets on the medium & small hp's, they help with zippy ships that out-turn you / stuff not worthy of much attention / attrition damage on stuff that does need attention, while you're lining up your sights. Then for focus fire, twin fixed pulse on the large hp's up top, and huge plus large plasma accelerator on the bottom for alpha whompage. The huge & large hp's are close enough together to use both plasmas as a single twin-shot, even aiming against small ships. Take that, corvette ;)

Hey Yesman I recently reworked my Anaconda. 4 beam lasers in the smaller hard points, 4 medium multicannons in the remainder. It shreds others real fast and the power distributor handles it very well, D rated. Once the new weapons arrive I will but the proper sized multicannons into their places.

With the upcoming splendor of 1.6, what to do...C4 and C3 on lower hull or 2xC3 multis on top and C4 beam and C3 beam on lower?

To top it off, new and improved missiles on C1!

Thank you Frontier, my wife had already accepted tomorrow will be only "space game" when I get home.

2 large burst lasers turreted on top, 2 medium gimbled multi cannons on the front tip, 1 large gimbled beam laser underneath,1 huge gimbled cannon on the next fire slot with the two turreted laser burst lasers and 2, turreted small multi cannons on the bottom back two, to provide that little bit of extra kinetic damage. On the slot one fire group.

Fire slot 1

RT= 2 turreted large bursts and 1 gimbled beam laser

LT= 2 meduim multi cannons and 2 turreted small multi cannons

Fire Slot 2

RT = 2 turreted large bursts lasers

LT= 1x huge cannon gimbled.

Fire slot 3 utilities.

This is the same loadout I use, I love the challenge of lining up the plasma, and the pulse lasers are more than adequate for taking out anything you cant hit with the PA's. Especially since the large ships that you use the PA's against are more likely to throw chaff everywhere. Do you use Leading or Trailing aim for the anaconda? I tend to favor leading because the the slow travel speed of the PA and the long nose of the anaconda.

Been running 2 burst laser turrets on top, 2 burst laser turrets on the front nose hardpoints. Underneath I have 3 gumballed multi cannons. Did just put 2 gimballed cannons on the small hardpoints, see how those do but should be nice. Those two hardpoints on top of the ship are best for lasers, they can fire darn near directly behind you lol.
