I had a laugh, but I do have two questions.
1) why is this in Newcomers?
2) Why is the paper called "How to build a PvE combat ship" when all the author does is complain about PvP being broken.

1) It is in Newcomers: Questions, Guides and Tutorials.
2) That was the best guide avail, and shared frequently here.

Little confused here. PVE combat guide, but its a PVP meta FDL. What is going on?

Yes, he removed it. So again, why did you link it here? It's of no use to a newcomer and it's no longer a guide or tutorial. Just a funny salty outburst.

PvP is the reason why 90% of modules and weapons in Elite is bloody boring, "because balance".
So what that one of the weapons is stronger? Those ten gankers that are left in the game can surely come to an agreement to not use it among each other.

Seeing as it's a guide shared with newbies, I put it here on purpose.
It's also useful for the many people who have been sharing it to know what's become of it.

I thought this was covering the original doc so I didn't read the link - now there is no way to remove my "like" so basical

Not at all happy that this has been posted here, it is not a guide and I really don't see your purpose in posting it in here.
