PvE: Guard Sh. RP vs Shield Cell Bank ?

Can the more experienced help here ?
I want to ask generally for any ship that can run these modules.

Would you run a Cell or have a GSRP in that slot for PvE?
I am leaning towards a GSRP

My thinking(please shoot it down if it is bad) is :
1. I can also remove the heatsink if I remove the cell(and use the slot for something more useful as my heatsink sits there doing nothing most of the time)
2. If my shields get that low that I need to use my cell,then it might be time to bug out, so I might as well have had GSRP for the added few extra seconds I get from them.

I suspect there may not be a black and white answer because which is best could be different depending on multiple factors. For instance, how big is the ship, how big is the shield, what size of slot for the GSRP / SCB, how you want to use it, etc ...

I just unlocked the GSRP and haven't tested yet. I still don't even know if the GSRP affects the recharge rate of the shield.

From PvP but towards a PvE perspective: If you have a C6 Bi-weave and not already good shields (600 MJ+ with ~50% resistances) the ngo for a guardian pack as they add a flat amount of MJ and do not scale with boosters.
However, if you are already having a good base shield, use a cell as the guardian pack doesn't really give you any advantage since NPCs don't really have boom and zoom loadouts or any kind of burst in the first place.
Furthermore, you should be using lasers as your primary firepower (or fuel rails) as if you run out of ammo and need to restock you can restock the cells anyhow.

I'd recommend a Python or a Krait for PvE, a C6 Bi-weave and a C4-5 guardian pack with 2 resistance boosters. This should pimp your shields up to 500MJ-600MJ depending on your loadout (assuming G5 mods) and will give you alot of regeneration on your biweave. Obviously fast charge secondary effect for the bi-weave as it scales tremendously up to 9.2 MJ/s or 3.7 MJ/s with shields online (iirc) plus 4 pips to SYS and ~ 50% resistances tops that up to a total of ~ 10 MJ/s online and ~ 30 MJ/s offline shield regen (effective HP).

Also works on a Gunship, FAS, Dropship, Chieftain, Challenger and eventually Clipper as well. FDLs are not too suited for this but FDLs already have ridiculous powerful shields.

The result is a high resistance, high base shield and fast charge bi-weave that regens hitpoints faster than NPCs can spawn.
