Hello Commanders !
I would like to share a little story with all of you.
It happened this week, a day before Christmas.
Participants :
Viper : Cmdr Deimos Qunhua
Cobra Mk.III : Cmdr Kus, Cmdr Sylgail and Cmdr Ashtar Sheran
Eagle Mk.II : Cmdr Cameron Star-Lord (or Cmdr Rocco Balboa, I can't remember) and Cmdr Teldja
ASP : Cmdr Charognar Zero

The story :
I was fighting the Imperial navy in Durius system when Cmdr Kus had broadcast a distress call.
He was hunting down some wanted spaceships (NPC) around the navigation beacon, located in Komovoy system, when he was attacked by some Cmdrs.
Cmdr Deimos Qunhua, who was much closer than I from Komovoy, also received the distress call and decided to come, as fast as his Viper can, to provide his support.
But it wasn't fast enough !
When He arrived on site, Cmdr Kus was already trying to run away from 3 Cmdr's : Cmdr Cameron Star-lord (or Cmdr Rocco Balboa) in an Eagle Mk2, Cmdr Charognard Zero in an ASP and Cmdr Sygail in a Cobras MK3
Cmdr Deimos Qunhua took down the Eagle Mk2 firts but Cmdr Kus couldn't make it in time and he was forced to eject. His own spaceship has been destroyed by Cmdr Sygail with his very powerful Cobra MK3.
I could follow all of this on the wireless but I was still jumping system to system all the way from Durius to Komovoy.
Cmdr Kus managed to return to the nearest space station (Silves Dock) minus his spaceship. So he had to fill all the the insurance company papers in order to get a new Cobra MK3.
He wanted to take his revenge on these Commanders, badly.
Meanwhile Cmdr Deimos Qunhua has become the new target of both the Cmdr Charognar Zero (ASP) and Cmdr Sylgail (Cobra Mk3).
He had no choice but to go into SuperCruise and wait for reinforcement with the two remaining Cmdrs on his tail.
I finally arrived in Komovoy to find out that Cmdr Surgail was still chasing Cmdr Deimos Qunhua in SuperCruise.
I decided to dock to Silves station in order and to outfit my Eagle Mk2 with a FrameShift drive Interdictor, I felt I was going to need it.
The insurance company reluctantly allowed Cmdr Kus to get a new Cobra Mk3 (but they took his money without hesitation of course).
He was eager to get back into the fight so I joined him into Super Cruise...
... To find out that more Commanders have just arrived in the system to join Cmdr Sylgail and Cmdr Charognard Zero !
Cmdr Kus and I decided to intercept one of them. And I was going to be the bait.
I "interdicted" Cmdr Ashtar Sheran and he submitted without hesitation. I knew I could not defeat him.
But I wasn't meant to. All I had to do was to make him think I was an easy target.
Hi opened fire again and again at me. He almost get me. My shield was gone and my hull was getting thin fast.
But I had to wait for Cmdr Kus who was still trying to locate the low wake energy I left behind.
I had almost lost hope that he could not find it and I was starting to warm up my frame shift drive in order to escape.
Suddenly Cmdr Ashtar Sheran stopped to shoot at me, Cmdr kus was on him.
Unfortunately it wasn't enough, Cmdr Ashtar Sheran was winning.
So I decided to cancel the jump drive sequence and to assist Cmdr Kus.
It took the both of us to finally destroy his Cobra Mk3 but our spaceships were badly damaged.
We had to get back to Silves Dock station to do some repairs.
Cmdr Deimos Qunhua was still running away from Cmdr Sygail and his allies.
And Some of them were also getting ready in Silves Dock.
Once our spaceships have been repaired, Cmdr Kus and I, went outside Silves Dock.
Cmdr Deimos Qunhua was here and so Cmdr Sygail and his allies.
We were outnumbered.
So we decided to took advantage of being within the security perimeter surrounding the space station to engage a more "civilised" and peaceful conversation with our aggressors.
Well... They Informed us that Komovoy system "belonged" to them and that we had nothing to do here.
We responded that were not OK with this and we would fight to defend our rights to travel and to do our business where we see fit.
But some something was odd.
We were all using English to communicate but something in the way their leader was using English sound very familiar to us.
The reason why was very simple : they were all Frenchmen like the rest of us !!!!
So we started to use French instead of English and then, well...
If we could have shared a nice glass of wine or a can of beer together, we would have done it right here, in space, this very moment !
And this is how an Alliance between two Commander's team is born in Komovoy
