Anyone have any more thoughts on a solution to get some more PvP in the game for those who want it? See prev. threads:

Before anyone start flaming, I get the fact that a big proportion of players seem to be very anti-PvP and would resist any changes to the game to encourage it. Personally though, I managed one trip in a Type-6 and that was enough trading for me. It seems to me a waste of a great simulator to not have a way for pilots to fight each other pretty much on demand.
My favoured option is for "simulator stations" dotted through the heavily populated and affluent areas of populated space that are networked together. When docked in these stations you can pay credits to play simmed PvP games against other players up to a max of 32 (max the game would be able to do at the moment?)
The games could come in a myriad of flavours (see above linked posts) and some could be tournaments (higher entry fee, some goes to prize pool).
The reasons you would have to pay credits to play is:
1. Realism, why would they build a sim station to give the service away for nothing
2. To force players into the real world every once in a while to earn some money (so that the sim doesn't become the game itself)
To me this seems to be relatively easy to implement, doesn't mess with the main game, and shouldn't upset the traders.
Contructive input on why this is a good / bad idea warmly invited, but please don't bother with the "why don't you just go to a warzone" posts.
