[PvP Vid] Three pirates interdict an Adle’s Armada mining vessel and start the shooting 3v1 (... but who will finish it?)

Hey, did you guys notice that over 1250 Commanders have contributed to the current CG for AA? I find that number truly astounding, and completely note worthy. Props to all of you guys.

Neat vid..

..but "Corvette Dreadnought" is why I'm here.

I just found it kind of odd to mix two different ship classifications into the name there. Where Corvette usually refers to a small warship, often used for patrol and interdiction (open seas reference, not space) while a Dreadnought is much larger on the same scale and meant for all out war rather than harassing and patrol actions.

Unless he names it "The Dreadnought" after your own arbitrary classing system.

Even the Fed/Imp "Capital" ships, by size, are really only in the 'Frigate' or 'Destroyer' category. Maaaaaybe light Cruiser if you stretch it a little.

Fair point. It's still the largest warship we can get :)

Technically though, the Farragut is classified as a battlecruiser. It's 2km long, so in the absence of anything larger I don't know why you think it would be only a frigate.

lol Pirate wants to switch to talking after he realizes his mistake. Silly pirate, to the victor go the spoils of explosions and wakes

There was a token bounty too. Apparently one had been naughty. Maybe it payed for the fuel costs to run that Miner'Vette.

Fair enough, Battle cruisers they are. I had never seen anything official on their stats and they just didn't feel very large from what I remember of my frequent encounters with both Fed & Imp cap ships in-game.

Then again, proper scale is something I think Elite has some small issues with.
