PWS Oddities

Has anyone noticed that the Pulse Wave Scanner can be a bit... Odd.
Or simply the game. Lol

I've earned about 900,000,000cr in mining, and I've begun to notice some strange things.

Sometimes, I'll find a core asteroid, all alone. Nothing of interest nearby, asteroids are all "dark". Fly over, begin cracking it, do my thing and fire up the PWS, to move on, and low and behold, another crackable asteroid is within 2km. Lol

It wasn't there before. But is now.
Win!

Other times, I can honk, and it reveals precisely nothing. Use head look to look around. Nothing. Honk again.
Loads of stuff!

Stuff can spontaneously change colour too.

Tis all very strange...

I'm getting the feeling crackable asteroids actually silently spawn, rather than you find them. Or the PWS is buggy. Lol

Either way. I've earned load of credits, and now I'm happy.
But I want more. MOAR!

The downside now, is everything else is going to feel very low paid. Lol

I tell you what freaked me out, my mining spot is in the Aries dark region (90LY from Maia) I am in the middle of frikin nowhere in a hotspot over 30,000km wide. Am coming across lots of OPAL cores, 2 asteroids detonated within 20km's of my location. You never see the detonation, just the cloud if someone else is mining near you in another instance... What are the chances of that happening?

Pretty unlikely!

But it did happen to me in beta in Delkar. Lol

Freaked me out.

Here's a thought though - how do we know every ring is completely unique to a planet ?
You could just be dropping into ring instance type 2A which is shared by 10,000 different class2 jovians or somesuch - so your not see-ing a commander in another instance of your Aries dark region planet , but one of it's "cousins" that shares that "type" of ring (room, dungeon what have you ) ?

Certainly bursts my mursion bubble to think of it like that... not seen or (probably more apt) noticed any cores breaking open without my assistance yet but have noticed the odd ice cloud when flying around , since then ive changed my routes with how i approach and drop into the hotspots to hopefully limit my chances of covering already broken ground.

Some of these rocks might not be entirely stable and could have already popped themselves with no more help than a million years of day/night heat cycling and various gravitational forces.

Lots of problems with Headtracking. Moving head alters or just outright removes the pulse effect.
From limpets, when your collectors do that... teleport thing they do. It breaks the pulse for 1 cycle.

Also whats with the effect/bug where holding down pulse shows core roids as Black/dark pixelated on very bright roids, though just pressing it once only shows the base colour ????
