Just trashed an NPC Wanted Python at Nav Point, in my trusty Cobra MkIII 'Ye Olde Oak Ham'.....
After 10 min scrap BOOM and 40+K bounty! Chuffed to mintballs! :D

10 minutes? With what were you attacking it? Your eyeball lasers? My "hold right mouse to win" Cobra fitted with 4x gimballed Multicannons can take Python down in about 4 minutes or less. Unless that python has beam lasers. Those hurt.

Well done with the python. I know how it feels.

I RP defensive honest trader (like the original game), and having failed to avoid a pirate python interdiction was pleased enough with the 54k bounty that he afforded me in my 'B' cobra. Guess that makes it 0-2

It's not hard to take down an NPC python with a viper or a cobra tbh, probably even a sidewinder is doable. Just aim for the power plant and pull the trigger and it goes down.
