Python, Anaconda, Vulture...who needs 'em?

Seriously, there is no content in game that requires ships of that magnitude if not PVP'ng.

A Viper is all that is needed against PVE hardest game. There are no missions that require more powerfull ships

Try to beat one of the new Elite Anaconda pirate lords with your Viper... Good luck

- I use my anaconda for trading
- I use my python for federation progression
- I still have a cobra and asp just 4 fun

Yup, you might get lucky with one or so, but keep doing those missions and see how you do. OH, and do them in a decent amount of time, not sitting back and taking your time from a distance. :p

I kinda agree, but the Elite NPCs can fight tough, and with limits on everything defensive it can be tough to keep on a kill right through the end. What's your loadout, and how long does it take to take-down an Anaconda (for example)? I'm currently in a Cobra mostly doing combat, but either need to trade to get up to a Vulture, or switch down to a Viper to get the most of bounty hunting.

Ok, gonna try one tonight. It could be a case just like before where they are randomly tougher though.

Never had a problem with Pirate lords in my Viper. So will be interesting. Sad though if the reward has not gone up if they are tougher

I am using the standard two C1 pulse and 2 C2 MC. Usually pick of the shields at distance so that chaff is effective. Then go in very close to hammer the power plant. Usually takes a couple of minutes

It's peeded me right off with the price of the vulture. 22million for a ship with very limited hard points and crap jump range and power. This ship should have been less that an Asp surely.

That's kind of silly putting self made limitations on anything. What's even more funny is when someone makes up some limitation and tries to make it apply to others unnecessarily....

Not everybody is an equally good pilot or want to stress themselves. Killing Elite Anacondas in a Python is far more relaxing than in a Viper ;)
And you can haul a lot of cargo without fear of filthy pirates :D. Python is fine :)

You'd change your mind if you actually flew it and the other big ships.

You want a Frog to eat a Crocodile. ;)

Something like that...
