Python and maximising cargo space

Bought a python on the weekend and for the meantime want to focus predominately on trading with some bounties when I want a break.

At the moment I have 220 cargo space but want to increase that if I can whilst maintaining shields. Is the best option to drop the class 6 shields and go for another 64 rack and then go for class 4 shields or is there another way?

If the above is the only way, are the class 4 shields any good ?

Use class 3 for pure trading and you'll have around 280t cargo. When I switch to a bounty hunting fit I usually never have trouble finding a class 6 shield.

A3 shield for trading. Even ok for an interdiction now and then. Can get a B2 shield cell as well to be safe (4t cargo). Depending if you get a A3 cargo scoop you then end up with 282 or 274t
