Python fuel scoop?

Using 3A here. Nets 176kg/s, which fills the fuel quite fast. Trader build, so I want to keep the bigger compartments for cargo space.

A3 or B4 from a time/cost perspective. I'm running an A4 now and very happy with it. Here's a link that shows what type of stars you can scoop and the scoop rates of each class. If you buy a scoop with a lower scoop rate, it helps to upgrade your Power module for better heat efficiency. Means you can stay in the star's corona for longer with better temp management.

A3 or A4. A3 is fine if you don't mind taking a short break every few trades, it will fill up in the time it takes to use the bathroom and grab something to drink.

I personally don't make a "one big pause", rather I scoop every stars for a few seconds. It's almost... seamless (more or less), the Python (still is) quite agile, so no problem to turn around each star for some seconds.

I rock the A4 with it's 300+ kg/s. (373 I think)

I can usually top off the tank while lining up my next hyperjump. No negative impact to my cr/hr gains, and elimination of the fuel cost.

I used an A4. I could pretty much do a quick sundive to replace most of what the last jump used. About every 5th jump the next waypoint would be behind the star so a longer scoop at .15-.5C would top the tank right up. By then the next waypoint would be visible. so no real delay on my journey.

Ditto here. I'm using an A4 scoop with C7? power, and unless you are doing really long jumps, your FSD will cool down and not much longer after that, your fuel tank tops off.

A4 and you can do drive-by scooping as you align for the next jump. Quick and saves a lot of cash if you have multi-hop routes.
