Hello, all.
So, after nearly 800 hours and a few restarts in the middle, I've finally fully engineered my Anaconda and I'm glad with the results. It's a fully kitted for bounty hunting and it is very effective; I use ocasionally for mining as well since that's where the big bucks are nowadays. I have also a DBX kitted and engineered for exploration, not 100% engineered really, but it gets the job done. I plan to tweak it just a little bit more, eventually, to make "my last exploration voyage" to reach exploration Elite. I'll probably sell it afterwards.
Now, after all this I want to build a medium ship to do mostly PvE content, like mining and bounty hunting. I've tried many so far, loved most of them - the Challenger/Crusader/Chieftain felt great to fly, specially - but my old love for the Python is still supreme. I love how it looks, its weapon placement, power management, its whole design really. The only reason I moved on from it is because back then there were no engineers, so it had a horrible jump range and it flew like a brick. TBH, I don't like having several ships for each role, I like to have as few ships as possible and that's the only reason why I moved on to large ships: with an Annie, you could really do everything with some effectiveness.
However, now that I've seen the difference that engineering can do, I think that I can mitigate some of the python's shortcomings and make it a good, well rounded multirole PvE ship and I was looking for ideas and builds for it. Hopefully, those with more experience with it than me can shed some light on what I should build.
This is what I've got so far: PvE Python.
Any feedback is appreciated.

If you’ve already got a combat focused Annie I’d create a Python that can do other bubble duties, mat gathering, cargo, passengers, planetary scans...etc...

Doubling down on shield boosters will let you shield tank and free up your modules for other things. A 4A fuel scoop is fine on a bubble Python...

3 efficient beams and 2 overcharged multicannons will destroy a lot of ships in one pass, you don’t need great handling if things are already dead...

Link

If you're dead set on a Python...

You'll get more armour from going HD + Deep Plating on the Reactive Plate, and making your smallest HRP Thermal + Deep Plating
Yoy'll get more shield from going hi-cap on the shield, and super capacitor on the SBs - yes, your resist% looks lower, but actually your Mj vs all types of damage goes up.
Also, you've akreafy spent a lot of credits... why have you installed a C6 Power Distributor instead of a C7?

Thanks!
Maybe mining? Of all the medium ships it's the one with greater cargo capacity...

Thanks. About the PD, because I'm stupid and didn't noticed it.

The Python excels at outpost trading, so I outfitted mine to be able to carry 180+ tons for the biggest non-wing missions and
put weapons and shields on it so that I can kill any Anaconda coming after me.

@ Morwys: Can't see your loadout being "at work" now :) but here is mine from a couple of day ago: PvE Transporter Python . As Bigmaec says - it is really a gold (credit) miner at outposts. I run 120 units of cargo for 5-6 Mio in good case and 180 units (two runs) for about 10,5 Mio. This Python manages to kill at least 3, mostly all 4 "dangerous" NPC Anacondas in row, which interdict me during this job. Sometimes they run away, so to ensure the kill or make it qicker I often ram the opponent - the prismatic shield falls never :) Now i'm switching my MCs to "efficient" bexause it seems to be the golden milled between the quickly overheating "overcharged" and comfortable, range independent, but quite low damage "longe range" version.

I use mine for running delivery missions to get allied with station factions that I want to be allied with. Here is a link, but for it to work you will probalby need to paste the link into your browser. I have had a lot of trouble getting the links from Coriolis to work since the first of the year. Fully Engineered and has enough kick to fight off any NPC that interdicts you.
