Python interdiction = Fender bender every time

Anyone else have this issue? Every time I interdict a player I end up slamming into their ship (most times hard enough to drop shields) any ideas?
 
Yea and I love it. Makes it easier to take down the shields of the Condas and Pythons. Just remember to put 4 pips to sys every time you drop.

Yeah, true but my Piracy tactics involve a lot more peaceful talking and then aggression if they try to run/attack.

It's hard to tell a shieldless T-7 "Comply and you will not be harmed" after my interdiction knocked him down to 63% hull...

That just makes them more likely to listen

I've never had their hull go down that low. At most their shields to zero and 80% hull and that's on a T6, if they don't have shields then I guess it might go down lower.
