Ships Python MK II question

I had not been doing a lot of combat recently. Mostly mining.
But I got the Python MK II and headed over to a High Res zone to test it out.

Is it just me, or do the 4 large Hardpoints have an issue with converging on a target?
Setup with 4 Large gimballed Beams. One bean always seems to stray off target.

Noting that in a dense combat zone, that one stray beam really wants to tickle a friendly law Anaconda.

I wonder if I should rethink my build or weapon groups. Or what am I missing?

The large hardpoint under the nose gets dropped in the firing convergence because of the angle between the target and ship.

I would suggest Rapid Fire Pulse lasers + Phasing over gimbled Beams and medium MC emissions + corrosive. The MC buff gimble targeting and debuffs the ship that improves damage with your pulse lasers.

But to be honest, the Stellar Python mk2 hardpoint setup is pretty good. Rapid fire + your experimental pick on the pulse lasers is good. Want more thermal damage? Oversize the MCs and add Incendiary rounds experimental. Watch shields melt and then watch the hull melt: 1.5km drop off vs. the 500m drop off that beams have.
