Interesting comments, and sad that so many trolls, but...
Sure, Type 7 could also be a medium freighter, this would be a fix as well, probably.
I had Type 7 for trading, I sold it and bought Python for trading. Soon I noticed that it was OP.
FYI, I have now Type 9 for trading. Type 9 seems to be in balance.
Python should be expensive, I agree on that, it could be double as expensive to fix/fuel as it is now. It is way too good to be this cheap
Buy price could be also higher, if the stats are going to be like those are now. I am not sure which one is better, Anaconda or Python, but at least Python is way cheaper. There are probably many who are never going to buy Anaconda even, because Python is OP.
Well, I do not have my Anaconda yet, so have to admit that I might be wrong in this.
edit. One more thing...
Everyone understands that at some point everyone has money to everything. So the question is, are we going to have OP multipurpose ships, or should there be greater variety of useful ships in the end?
Expensive multipurpose Python, maybe best in the combat and extremely good in trading, best medium sized trader. Maybe these "best" roles could be shared for different ships. And if Python is going to be best in combat, everyone is going to have one what ever are the costs.
The best combat ship does not need cargo at all, everyone will have one at some point anyway.
And if the cargo space is like it is atm., as a multipurpose ship, I do not see any reason why it should be as good as it is in combat.
Or well... I am really waiting to see medium and large, full purpose combat ships.
