Ship Builds & Load Outs Python shields. class 6 series in empire. Help plz.

In a nut shell I've torn around the whole of the empire looking for these fables class 6 class shields for my Python. I'm of the opinion they don't exist. :p

I've been to all the usual hotspots like meliontit and Beta-2 tucanae to no avail.

I don't have Founders clearance. yes i'm using the map to hop to high pop, industrial and Hitech. Nowt.

i'm now officially smacking my head against a wall into a bloody pulp.

Yes, I've also googled it to no avail.

Help.

As Firestarter says High tech only, try Li Yong Ru systems for 15% discount, try at Gladuyjin, NLTT 13249, PLX 695, Jadlillke, 109 Piscium and Diaguandri, thing is though you rep will impact on what the station will sell you especially high end stuff.
My home system will sell me a 5A FSD but it wasn't available to another player at the same station simply because I've traded and ran missions for that station and built up good rep with the station faction, so you'll need to be green with the high tech station you intend to buy from.

Here's a screenshot of my Python in outfitting at my home system, it already has a 5A shield in a class 5 slot so the class 6 shields can't be installed until it's removed but class 6 shields are available to buy.

Wow...you must have your eyes wide shut... Cubeo, Medupe City - a C6 for 1.8 mil cr : Cubeo, Adelman Station - a D6 for 600,000cr.
NB you can buy Marine Equipment at Adelman, fly them, roughly, 400 ls to Chelomey Orbital & sell them for over 1000 cr profit per ton (every time)

I know you're not a beginner, but many times when the CMDR has flown to a few hi-tech systems, and have not found what they're after, the issue lies with the CMDR choosing the wrong internal compartment while shopping. Ie class 5 instead of class 6.

100% agree. I used to do exactly that myself. I nearly head-butted the wall when I realised.

Hi guys sorry for the delay in my reply.

Yup the mistake was i had my python refitted as a cargo truck (i found a nice cargo route) and i forgot to remove my low end shields in a small slot. :p So the game was giving me a module excess error. Once this silly person realised that I managed to easily find the item i wanted.
