Horizons Python SRV bay!!

Hi all,
Frontier dev's please can you rotate the SRV bay 180 degrees.
I am fed up of having to reverse out everytime as the SRV cannot pass under the rear of the Python.

This little tweak would take away this little frustration and make the game feel as if it been designed in real life.

Also when in VR, the player has depth perception and we all see that the SRV's wave scanner antenna pass through the wall of the bulkhead which is very jarring in real 3D.

Out of interest why are the SRVs deployed via this "magical" drop/lift system when a lot of the ship have modeled large hatches that could be opened and driven down drawbridge style?

Cheers

I have no problem with the way they are deployed. However, I have noticed that they can be stowed facing the opposite way but somehow magically turn around in the bay, (which is a very tight fit), before they are deployed again.

Larger ships may have a ramp deployment but smaller ones would look pretty ridiculous trying to do it unless the SRV canopy doubles as a ships cockpit. Maybe the same system as the Fighters that enter a slot and get lifted from underneath. However, I don't understand how it's "magical" since there are systems today that can lift a vehicle and even turn it to fit into the space using an articulated clamp similar to your own hand.

I do agree with the Python deployment though, as a Python owner myself, I stopped using it to land and deploy the SRV for the same reason. The back end of the Python is just too low for the SRV to go under it so you have to reverse to avoid getting stuck under the ship. I've had it stuck under the back of the ship before now due to the Drive Assist being on by default and had to dismiss the ship because, after 10 minutes of trying, it was obvious I wasn't going to get free.

I so know what you mean, so I always dismiss my ship once the SRV has been deployed (it really ruffles my hair too!)
