Python to anaconda questions

Hi. I have a A rated slightly engineered python. Can I store everything from the python and use it on the anaconda to save on outfitting costs? Just wondering the best way forward and how to save a few credits

Thanks

For the most part, yes. I had a Python and FDL, and just transferred modules and weapons from the two to my Anaconda. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy combat but until you upgrade, it works very well as a multi role vessel.

None of the Pythons core components are a direct fit in the Anaconda.

You can still get the Anaconda and set it up with the lighter/cheaper d rated components to take advantage of its jump range.

I have a combat Anaconda still running my 6A drives from the Python, and it works like a charm. Everything else is A-rated though, so... But, I was able to bounty hunt in an Anaconda with Python internals, even if they were not max size.

I guess that now that all the NPCs face-tank you, speed isn't important for battle, but jeez, isn't that boring trying to get close enough to them to scan them. I remember the first time I tried an Anaconda in a RES. I spent the whole time continuously boosting backwards and forwards across the RES trying to get a shot in before the bad guys got killed by the other NPcs. One night was enough before I went back to the FDL. The Anaconda's too slow with a basic 7A drive. A 6A must be diabolical!
