Python vs Beluga Liner

Since the update I have been doing passenger missions in an Orca. I need a ship with a better FSD. I used the Asp however, it can't carry the amount of passengers I need for star tours (I like to take out three groups at a time). I am deciding between the Python and Beluga Liner.

Thoughts? Suggestion? Maybe I ship I forgot?

Thank you, and fly safe.

If it's any help I use my T7 for passenger missions. I rarely come under attack if I can avoid it however i think it's slower than the Orca.

I've been told this has a bigger jump range than an Orca as well.

If you've got the rank, the Clipper makes a nice passenger ship. It's fast, and has a decent jumprange before engineers. The class 7 slot also let's you put a big sippy fuel scoop on, allowing you to jump faster.

I say go with the Beluga for passenger missions,
not just because of the very lucrative, although infrequent, luxury missions,
but because of the extra large fuel tank.
It's nice being able to get 12-15 jumps, takes a little of the worry away about running out of fuel.

It's also cheap compared to the two options listed in the title.

Edit: thought this would merge with my first post. Apologies.

I'm 86% lord right now. Could make baron in a half hour. Haven't done any passenger missions yet. Should I outfit a Clipper for passenger missions or should I get a dedicated orca and get a clipper as a secondary multipurpose.

Well for less than half the price of an Orca, the Clipper is a nice alternative that can also be outfitted for virtually anything else, something the orca and beluga cannot do. Well cannot is a bit strong. They can do other things, but why, god, why would you bother?

I'd keep the Orca for luxury missions and buy a Python for other passenger types, it can carry more passengers than a Beluga. Both the Orca and Python have the same thruster and FSD class so you can swap engineered modules between them too.

I love the Clipper, but the gas tank is so small. When I used that ship I felt like I was constantly scooping. Which suck cause I was looking for a good role for the Clipper besides mining.

Plus the python can land on outposts. However, I haven't seen a passenger mission that requires you to go to an outpost

For what it's worth, I'm currently using a Python for passenger missions and loving it. Plenty of room.

For wanted missions, be sure to have heat sinks just in case.
