Hello everyone

first, I'm very sorry if the thread is duplicated, I used search but I couldn't find my need.

I recently purchased Saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino H.O.T.A.S. and Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals and theycoming in the way to me.

as I said I used forum search and I found this thread and I guess it gonna help me a lot

X55 Rhino Button Layout with Reference Card

but I didn't find thread to setup the both Saitek X-55 and Pro Flight Rudder Pedal for first time.

can someone help me to setup both for first time?

thank you

I use the same setup. The only difference is that the yaw axis is set to the pedals rather than the joystick twist axis.

I have found that occasionally I have to unplug and then plug back in the rudder pedals to get them to work (the green light on the pedals indicates whether they are working or not).

Not much to it dude, it's all plug and play. Assign the pedal axis to your liking, adjust null zones. I have yaw on the pedals, and the left/right toe brakes handle lateral thrusters.

You can also switch yaw & roll instantly between your pedals and stick by assigning a button to 'YAW-ROLL' in the controller settings page (FLIGHT ROTATION)

Hey,

What 777 said is correct, its plug and play (dont forget to install the official drivers). I have yaw on the pedals, and next/previous panel on the toebrakes.

One piece of advice I would like to add though, is to use a powered USB hub. Before I used the HUB I had issues with 'ghosting' (joystick button firing randomly), no matter whether I had it plugged into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 slot.

Cheers and enjoy your new toys!,

The joys of the HOTAS.... can't be beat with any console controller which simulates an RC controller for a 3rd person experience.
