Q: How to transfer modded 'Military grade composites'?

As the title says.
I stored it from my Anaconda and tried to fit it on the Corvette, without luck.
Didn't try it in the beta as I ranked up to get the Vette during this time, am I missing something here?

Only applicable to the same ship type?
Bug?
Dumb user?

You can't fit hulls from one ship to another. You are trying to squeeze a Corvette into an Anaconda body.

Same reason you can only buy hulls for ships that are in stock at the stations.
