Q: Minor faction influence on other systems

Greetings,

influencing one given minor faction in system A positively.

Any effect on the same minor faction being present in system B?

Thanks in advance,

In terms of Influence (%) : no.

What happens in System A - stays in System A

However, there's plenty of Faction States which' respective benefits or restrictions are shared across all Systems a Faction is present in.
I.e. Faction goes Boom State in System A - it'll be in Boom State in all present Systems as well.
Or when the Faction in System A goes into a Conflict, all non-combat Activities done for it will cease having an effect on its Influence anywhere it is present.

As far as I understand it, as soon as a faction's influence surpasses a certain threshold it enters the expansion state and there is a chance that it will appear in a neighbouring sys within a certain distance. This process can be predicted and controlled to a certain degree. More in the comprehensive guide:

A Guide to Minor Factions and the Background Sim

Edit: I think I misread your question. The guide is worth a read regardless.

Thank you all for answering!

I should have specified it was all about influence - the multi-system state effects were clear.

In a war situation faction a issues missions even though the war situation is in system B, how does that work out then?

It's a bug IMHO, faction gives you fake trade/passenger INF+++ missions, while only bounties count everywhere for INF and combat bonds(where war takes place) count for INF gains.

It's not a bug, imho - it's just everyone doing the keep calm, and carry on thing. Missions do get worse, compared to boom, when a faction is in conflict.
