I go to Qa'Wakana sometimes. Carpini Terminal is a very nice location and there are some good bounty hunting RES locations

It's not far from the noob systems so you can find a blend of sidewinders and CMDR pirates there as well

I've had my fill of pew pew for the time being. Spent last week hammering a Compromised Nav Beacon until I hit Elite combat rank :D

Now I'm running around Empire space trying to get the rank for a Cutter, so that going for Elite in trading is (slightly) less arduous. Went from 13% Baron to 30% Viscount in 3 casual sessions, saving the grinding panties for the final rank... or I may wait til Horizons and the tweak to make military ranking "easier"...
