QoL could we get all ships with built in Super Cruise Assist

I am old and yes it’s a skill issue, hands don’t work as well as they use to with diabetes. That being said things like super cruse assist, docking computers, planetary approach should be in ship systems toggled like night vision. Not saying you need to use them. But these items should be built into every ship. If there needs to be reduced slots that’s fine but consider them as QoL feature for every ship. In regards to needing them, every ship needs them regardless of pilot skills.

Just have the modules installed by default on all new ships, no need for anything more really except maybe a bind on the SCA.

SCA and PAS come installed when buying a new ship.

SCA, (A)DC and PAS are being behind several key presses tackles bots, as well as SCA is a straight line and doesn't navigate for you.

This. We got free slots added to ships when these modules were added. For the explicit purpose that the ships could come with these modules pre-installed. Integrating them into the ships, logically, would mean the removal of those slots. Which means, nobody actually gains anything from the change, but those not needing them loose slots. Not a good deal in my eyes.

On making them easier to use, that's another thing. The short time i tried them, i also found the supercruise assist not really helpful or convenient to use. Improvements on that side thus definitely would make sense.

I agree. I would say supercruise assist, the docking computer should be auto included. Whether they have to remove slots or what, I don't care. Anything that makes the game more accessible to people with disabilities should not have an offset. Super cruise assist also can save 30 seconds on every trip making it one of the most beneficial modules in the game for player time outside of super cruise overdrive.

As others have already said, all ships come with enough size 1 slots for these modules. If you want them, install them. I personally don't use them and can use the empty slots for other modules. If all ships came with the assists built in, the size 1 slots created for them would be removed. I (along with many other players ) would then lose out, you wouldn't.
