Many a CMDR, including myself, have suggested an improved module storage solution. Most of these revolve around some sort of separate storage "garages" for each ship. While this would be the optimum solution, it is not without drawbacks. Mainly, the said module would be hidden from other ships. The implementation of this could also be a bit more time consuming for development.
How about a simple checkbox mechanism, where we could choose which ship each of the modules originally belong to. Or even simpler, just a small note next to the module indicating which ship we stored it from last. Maybe even allow some per ship filtering.
This would really help us find our way through the present stored modules jungle.
