[QoL] Visual orientation help for orbit lines

Good morning,

There was that planet approaching moment where you lose orientation because one can't tell wich part of the orbit line is closer to the ship in super cruise:

In order to resolve this and help the brain with a visual clue, I added a dashed line on the orbit half which is furthest away:

Tell me what you think. Thanks for reading.

EDIT: Some BBCode lessons learned

Absolutely! I've been wanting this for ages. Hopefully easy to implement, it would help a lot.

The part that is closer is the part that has the most space between the line and the planet. Simple perspective really. In this case the station is on the far side from your perspective.

Never have orbit lines on as it spoils the view for me. Never had an issue approaching stations regardless, well no problems relating to the issue here. Getting distracted by RL things is the main causes of issue for me on approach.

I can still see both versions beeing true with your method. I guess its not that "simple" - its simple when the brain always perceives it as the same way - biased set view if you want so. A similiar case is that black/white image with 2 female profiles in it. Once you see both, you can't make it unseen.

not used orbit lines since they first introduced the option to turn them off, space wouldn't have them and it spoils the views IMO.

I remember the problem mentioned by others before. We never got an answer to that I believe. I even remember someone proposing a solution similar to yours.

I don`t use orbit lines, but for those who do this would be a nice improvement so +1 and you have my support.
