Powerplay Quadruple bounty payout for Antal at Rank 5

I don't normally do much bounty hunting, but to break up fortification I did some bounty hunting and got a fantastic surprise.

I get four times the value of the bounty back with Antal at rank 5...

By luck I killed an Elite Anaconda and made a million credits in about ten minutes. Its like Antal is giving me money. In one night I could make about 30 million. Insane!

My question now is: why do so few people bounty hunt for Antal? The money is from what I gather double over what Hudson and ALD pays out.

That's very interesting. It has been reported that Arissa's bounty bonus goes up to 480%. I assume something similar happens with Hudson too.

I wonder how many powerplay bonuses are actually working as intended. I only know that Mahon's trade profit works as described.

Yep. The +100% (or the 50%/40%/30%/20% at rank two) bonus gets paid out twice at the moment once when you get the bounty and again when you pay it in.

The 100% is the passive everyone in ALDs systems gets. Its the bit that says all bounties and fines are doubled, that how they have implemented it, whatever their bounty is, it gets doubled when you kill them, seems a bit backwards to me.
Then you get your 20% increase to all bounties for everyone, so its 120% for non ALD members.

If you look You will see that earned bounties in both Antal and ALD control systems are doubled, and that they are increased in exploited systems as well. If You turn in your bounty in these systems, You will get a back-end doubling on the bounty; this then stacks with the 100% bounty increase from rank 5 to effectively quadruple the bonus. So Antal gives up to: 400% (100% Base + 100% Rank 5 Bonus, doubled by Static Bounty Doubling)!

ALD gives an additional 20% Bonus to eveyone who turns in bounty in Her control systems; this allows ALD's supporters to get up to the 540% if She is 1st in Galactic Ranking: 540% (100% base +50% for Gal Rank 1 + 100% for Rank 5 + 20% for Hunting in Her systems, Doubled by Static Bounty Doubling)

I Hope that Helps,
Ambassador Kaze

i have never experienced any stacking of bonuses. I only get double the bounties or combat bonds from my rank 5 bonus with ALD.

That's because some of the bonuses are applied *before* an amount is put in your transactions tab. The doubling you have seen is the rank 5 100% bonus being applied to the figures in transactions to produce the figures you see in the Contacts cash-in screen.

I used to be a bit vague about the ALD bonus size (while still knowing it was big). 540% is mentioned in this thread earlier but that's the first time I've come across that figure; most sources on the forums quote 480% for a rank 5 ALD player. The day I decided that was correct was when I had no bounties in my transactions tab, got interdicted by an enemy agent in a Control system, killed him and the usual 400 Cr message came up on the info screen. I got a figure of 960 Cr in the transactions tab, then at the station I went to the Contacts screen and there was a 1920 bounty waiting for me - 480% of 400.

Can't remember now for sure what position we had that cycle in the Galactic rankings but am fairly sure it was 1st. It varies depending on being 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or below that.

Okay, thank you Lord. I've mostly spent time in conflict zones since 1.3 was released, because RES are hit or miss for spawns, so I haven't really had an oppertunity to see that effect for bounties. That does not happen to combat bonds.

In ALD space, the same bonuses (and stacking) also apply for conflict zones.

It took me some time (an explanation by others) to notice a bug in the stacking. The rating bonus is applied twice, hence ending with a multiplier 480% (rating 5) instead of the intended 240%. I originally thought, it is the bounty/fine doubling in ALD space, but it is not.
You notice the difference with rating 2, when this is applied twice and no doubling occurs anymore (stacking is 20%+rating+rating).
Also, if it would be a bounty/fine doubling for ALD control systems, it would not work for combat bonds, which it does.
The stacking to 480% combined with a good conflict zone or RES can make hunting as profitable as trading, but much more interesting.

As I currently work for a different power, it's back to trading for me right now as a money earner.

EDIT: Enough talking about this bug, enjoy it while it lasts and gives an alternative to trading.

Maybe this has happened to other people, but it hasn't happened to me. When I first got ALD's rank 5, I found a combat zone and popped an Anaconda. The notification said 72,000 credits, my transaction tab said 72,000 credits. I then went to the local station to cash it in. Transaction tab said 72,000, the contacts screen was double, or 100% more at 144,000..

Was the conflict zone actually in ALD space at that time? If yes, it is interesting, as you did not get the 20% bonus as well.

ALD and T-1000's rank 2 bonuses are overwritten by their rank 5 bonuses. This gives 2*2=4 for terminator and 1.2*2*2=4.8 for ALD.

Wow... I didn't realize that one bonus replaced the other... :( Does that work the same for Z. Hudson's bonuses? if so: Pranav Antal For the Win!!! I get to keep my Influence Bonus AND get a quadrupled Bounty Payout in our Control Systems!!!
