Quality of life collection

I'm really, really eager to get my hands on that 2020 update of course, but since then it's QoL until then, which is also a great thing in my opinion, here's my list:

Adjustable camera in Livery:
Something I always disliked when choosing paintjobs and shipkits especially is the fact that the camera is fixed when doing so. I'd like to rotate around my ship, looking at it from every angle to be able to make an educated decision about the ship kit parts I equip. At the moment I pick my parts, go out of livery, then go back to surface to take a good look at my ship via camera. It's even more frustrating with paintjobs I don't own, even more with those you only see the effects when moving the camera or the ship. There are these iridescent PJs in the shop at the moment and I am not sure if I want one because I have no way to take a good look at it in the livery preview.

HUD options:
I guess that's a no-brainer and something people want to a long time now. I wouldn't stop at changing colour though, but would love to see a HUD editor where I can place the holographic parts myself.

Total immersion mode:
I'd love to be able to kill off any button prompts and hints refering to keyboard buttons in the game or similar things. The "Press "[button]" to abort jump" for example, or the press-up lift-off hint when landed. I also dislike the "help" option in FSS mode and the fact that the tutorial starts on it's own when activated the first time.
I mean, it's much better than in games like FarCry or Tomb Raider with those prompts, but still... I'd love to only see ingame ship control things on my screen when sitting in the cockpit.

Manual as part of the Codex:
There is that outdated manual we can access from the launcher (on PC), but why not integrate it into the Codex as some kind of flight manual? It's all information at hand while in the game, and at least accessing it is somewhat immersive and makes sense and happens within the game then.

Choices for the Sim people:
Okay, it's a game and all, but it's also a space sim, and while there are people who like to have a more "gamey" approach, many others would love to see a more close-to-reality thing for the ultimate space feeling. Things like the new lighting and colour grading which tints the skybox and thus Milky Way in the background in the colour of the local star (this freaks me out so much I actually don't enjoy exploration that much anymore). The button prompts and the FSS tutorial mentioned before are also part of it. I'd love to see toggles and sliders for these kinds of things so whoever likes it can have their multicoloured fantasy space, while others have the option to see more realistic light distribution that doesn't defy fundamental laws of physics for the sake of more diversity.

Mouse cursors on panels:
Yes, I know, consoles n stuff. But really, using the panels on our ships feels like scrolling through those old graphics options screens back then when games were DOS based. I'd love to at least have the illusion of being able to just point my finger at the holo display to activate a function istead of using cursor keys. The mouse is a very precise and awesome device, and we are already able to use it in the station menus, so why not add mouse support for panels as well?

Ship cameras and flood lights:
The camera suite is pretty awesome, but what I'd love to have as ship functions, are cameras on my ship that make more sense and are accessible more easily. In Subnautica for example there are cameras mounted on our submarine, one on top of it and one below. Changing to camera mode we still have control but we can also rotate the camera to maneuver more effectively while seeing what's, for example, directly below us. While that is somehow possible via camera suite, it's pretty clunky and doesn't feel like a ship function, but more like a game feature in Elite.
Along with the cameras I'd love to see more lights around my ship. Those things are so big I can't imagine there wouldn't be flood lights mounted on the hull to, for example, light up the ground beneath us when landing, or pointing at something without moving the entire ship as if it was a car.

There is a lot more I guess, but those are the things that come to mind at the moment. Feel free to add stuff. :)

You can never have enough editing options[yesnod].

The one other thing I want are ships but I doubt that will happen.

Adjustable camera in outfitting generally. The other day I wanted to fit two mining lasers on my Type-10 in nearby hardpoints. I thought I had it right, but I wasn't sure until I left the station and drew my weapons.
