Quality of Life Improvement Suggestion - Synthesis Reload All

Hi Devs

I don't suspect this is the first time this this has been suggested, nor will it be the last but here goes just in case.

Any chance we can get an extra option on the Synthesis panel to restock all our guns at once?

If like me you run large ships with lots of multi cannons, reloading between 5 and 8 on an individual basis in the heat of combat is impractical at best.

There would of course be limitations, a Commander could not pick and choose between Basic and Premium ammo. Its all or nothing, and if the commander did not have enough materials it would reload as much as it could and then stop.

Just an idea.

What do you think?

In before you should make sure you are stocked up at all times because I'm perfect Commanders.
 
I guess the question comes down to how synthesis is supposed to fit in with combat. Recent changes, or incoming changes, to Heat Sink synthesis seems to indicate FD intends for there to be a time and button management aspect to the process. What you are asking for, seemingly, is counter to how FD are setting up the synthesis system.

I am on the fence on the subject. I rarely use synthesis, having to hoard my mats for Engineering. I'm not an avid collector.
 
I'd say the opposite is true, with the increase to material storage limits and the fact that basic multi cannons reloads (and most ammo type for that matter) are all grade 1 materials, I'll be able to say out longer between either returning to a port to restock, or collecting more materials.

In an ideal world I'll be synthesising little and often between battles so time is not an issue, but if you get jumped PVP and your low on ammo unexpectedly it would be great to go to Synth panel and mash one button to reload all available systems.
