Hi there, i wanted to post this in the ideas sections, but since i have many suggestions, general discussions seemed more convenient.
As the title says, i am not going to talk about adding new dinosaurs/animations/buildings/game-changing mechanics ... but instead i am going to speak of ways the existing ones could be improved.

- Of Dinosaurs:
- First of all, i am going to talk about hatching dinosaurs, we go into the hatchery, we now have more than 60 different species, and it takes times to look for a certain dinosaur, i know they are listed alphabetically or by rating, but what i would like to have is a search tool, where i insert the name of the dino ( or just initials ), and it selects it automatically, at least make a search by letters, for exemple if i want to select Tyrannosaurus-rex, all i have to do is type the letter ' T ' and the screen will only show dinos whose names start with ' T ' such as Triceratops , T-rex ... you get the idea.
- Adding a count number of each species into the dino information on hatchery would be nice, let's say we are filling an enclosure with Troodons, we know the max social is 16 ( without modification) , it isn't easy to keep count specially when we have other matters to attend to, say upcoming storms / digs ... on challenge mode, it would improve the quality of life, by just selecting the hatchery and before hatching the dino, we get to know how much we already have living in the park.
- The combat and breaking-out systems needs to get reworked on certain aspects, combat between two small carnivores is PERFECT ! They keep moving around evading each other, just like two felines fighting, it is amazing ! The combat between a large/medium carnivore and an armored herbivore is okay i guess, it resembles the indominus/ankylosaurus fight from the first Jurassic world movie, the carnivore always takes the same looking down stance, and the herbivore counters him, it is like a yin-yang circle, it is generally acceptable. The bad part is when the large or medium carnivores fight each other, they take the same yin-yang stance which is ridiculous, they literally stand as if they are going to kiss each other on the cheeks, they should be standing up front of each other face to face and the combat should be more dynamic than standing still and waiting for the other one to bite, that's why the small carnivores combat is epic, they keep moving, it seems real !
- As for the breaking out, i say make certain fences indestructible for certain species, a struthiomimus shouldn't be able to destroy a heavy steel/concrete fence, they can be stressed which leads to not eating and drinking and they will eventually die as a protest to their unhealthy confinement , but they just can't destroy any fence, electrified or not ! Small carnivores as raptors shouldn't escape by headbutting fences, they should instead be able to climb over normal fences - at all times- , and only be able to escape out of electric ones if the electricity is out. Anyways i won't bother you much with this, i might create another thread later to explain how it could be made better.
- Of buildings:
- Hotels, shops, restaurants... should have proper doors, and if possible make the inside look alive, Viewing galleries and towers already have visible people inside, but when i read on the info panel that a viewing gallery has 600 visitors, then look down to find 7 guests and 3 obese persons that ain't right ! the interior should be crowdy, very crowdy ! remember the viewing log in T-rex kingdom on first movie ? people were fighting to get up-close and be able to see.
- Another thing that concerns Viewing buildings and ranger jeeps, is zooming, if only the visual focus would move with the zoom as well that way the level of detail doesn't fall gradually the farther we zoom, i noticed that in jeeps, the more we zoom the more the audio focus moves ( we don't hear the jeep radio anymore or ambiant sounds as rain falling ), but that shouldn't happen, audio should remain the same we didn't leave the jeep, but the visual focus should move, so that anyway we zoom to, the quality of vegetation/water/ tree models remain the same. I am running the game smoothly on the highest quality but whenever i zoom to a distant place, every detail disappears and i am left with an almost pentium 4 game quality.
- Drivable Tour trucks and gyrospheres should give us the ability to use camera just like driving a ranger jeep, and speaking of the ranger jeep camera, i would kill to get rid of those camera grids, they are totally unneeded and could just be removed for a better view.
I have other ideas that can improve the game, i don't remember all of them, i will add any important one that crosses my mind to this thread. I want to thank all of you for reading, and want to thank all the people responsible for making this game, sorry for the tough love but we really want it as perfect as it can be, and i am always hoping for the best.
