Quantities and extra keystrokes

Let me start by saying the new menus and screens look nice =)
But their functionality could use some re-work as it now requires extra menu clicking to do things, however some minor tweaks could fix that.

I did a quick mining run today, a couple things I noticed that I didn't like though...
I play in VR, and use the head tracking for menus to reduce keybinds and blind key boarding, so an extra keystroke is a bit minor in light of some other issues atm, but its still a little disappointing.

Extra key strokes
- Nav panel target selection, previously 2 strokes to lock a destination. Now its 3. Could lock/unlock be changed so that it is the default after selecting a destination? Currently Back becomes the default, requiring you to select lock/unlock manually. Previously just a nice double tap locked your destination.
- the Jettison cargo menu also now requires more keystrokes to accomplish. Used to see <1> and pressing < would select to max. Now you just see 1> and have to press > repeatedly to get to max. Would be nice to see the <1> again and be able to just select max # with one stroke.
Trading menus - the holding of the mouse button on the -/+ no longer accelerates. Please fix this! I read that keys will still work but plenty of people use the mouse in menus, especially nice for VR users.

Thanks

I strongly amplify the need to speed up the Buy/Sell totals in the Commodities Market trading menu(es) -- I have only 128 cargo slots but I fall asleep waiting to fill up with sh..., I mean, Biowaste! I can only imagine how painful it is for Commanders flying true cargo craft. I estimate 0.5 sec/item when holding the mouse button (my SOP since Day One), which means a full minute to fill my mediocre hold. It previously took only seconds.

I'll second that!

If you have left and right select key / button assignments then these don't have the mouse's single-click issue. So in my case I can use A and D and the POV left and right for this. (So whatever you have set to move left and right in menus - not the tabs/pages but the menu selections.)

Ah, so, I'm supposed to experiment with every possible keystroke/joystick action (I tried about a dozen to no avail and then thought, "This is so bogus!") to discover a new way to do something that was very easily done before, to compensate for a change that makes no sense whatsoever? I don't think so. If some folks are having difficulty with a fast counter then the better approach (something the FD Devs seem to avoid like the plague) is adding a modifying key to slow the count, not making everyone suffer because a few have no manual dexterity to speak of.

I'm just trying to help, telling you that there are other ways of doing things until they fix it. No need to have a cow as you no doubt have bindings already set for these as you can't navigate the UI with a mouse. Plus it is extremely ungracious of you considering I took the time to reply and make an in-game screenshot.

Ooo, so sensitive! I wasn't dissing you, Commander Handy, but the absurd complexity needed to address a rather stupid change in the UI, when a much simpler method could have been used. Apologies if your touchy feelings were hurt.
