Quasar Beam

Ok so today I had found my first Quasar, and I had found about 6-7 others. These were not a problem until my most recent one. I had gotten into the "beam" (not really sure what to call it) and for some reason it flipped me 180 degrees toward the star, currently trapped with no way out as the beam being out of FTL is considered a "Hazardous Zone" that deals damage pretty quickly, and it wouldn't be a problem if the "beam" did not throw you around. Does anyone have a work around? I am still alive at 97% for about ten seconds before I immediately quit. Can I be simply moved out of the zone, as I am an explorer trying to enjoy the game. Thanks

Ah you fell into the deathtrap it moves you due to magnetic interference or something like that in your case it seems there's no way you can escape I mean you could try to escape but the chances are very thin sorry to hear it CMDR

Did you happen to arrive in system directly inside the jet? If so, thats (supposedly) a bug, and you could start a support ticket asking for them to move your ship. They have done so in the past when people found thenselves inside of a cluster of permit locked systems after and update.

If he immediately was inside of the jets after ccoming from hyperspace, it IS a known bug...

However if he was just toodling in SC, and it happened...user error

Did they actually confirm it? I couldn't find anything official so I was covering the possibility it wasn't. I assumed it was a bug as the line "When hyperspacing to a star with jet cones, avoid potential danger regions at the poles" is in the patch notes. Wouldn't make much sense for the devs to put that as a warning in the patch notes, so it would likely have been a featute.

When I had to contact them about it, I had video and everything.
They said something to the effect of "they're working on a fix"

Plus, check around the forum, yyoull see it's happened to quite a few folk

Yes, I do not have video proof but it had dropped me out of hyperspace into a quite large cone, it seemed (couldn't really tell being tossed about) and facing away at first I believed but couldn't tell. I pretty much just got dropped into the "hazardous zone" and started taking damage. "Combat logged" after about ten seconds. I can't get out of it.

Similar thing happened to my friend, who's new to the game, yesterday. He was quite impressed by the detail of his canopy blowing out though he tells me

I lost my clipper to one earlier, travelling to nanditi to get mag emmiter coils for felicity, had preasyodium ( more like unpronouncium) and energy grid things, journey was set up for scoopable stars only, SC straight into a beam and lost thrusters, modules malfed, ship quickly followed, meh, wasn't to bothered about the ship, losing all that mined unpronouncium grated abit though.
