Question about beta stuff.

Hi there. Just a quick question.

I don't have beta access. As such, will I have to download anything today before I can play Elite, considering I'm still just gonna' be playing 2.0.09?

Shouldn't have to as far as I know, the Beta usually runs on a separate server.

Nope. If you're entitled to beta access, it appears as an extra option in the launcher. Beta doesn't affect the live game, although there is a new launcher which you may have to upgrade to soon.
