Engineers question about bindings

I purchased the game and expansion this morning about an hour before the shut down, and the controller worked famously. However since the update the modifier key binds are not functioning any longer. Anyone else having this issue as well, or am I missing a setting in ED somewhere? I'd hate to think that I spent the money for a game I'm going to hate because I cant use a controller or change the bindings.

I'm not using the gamepad, unfortunately, maybe someone who does will chime in, later, or you could try asking in Xbox subforum.
But I remember devs said there will be much more options how to set up the controller and the "shift" buttons so maybe some button binds disappeared and need to be set manually. Then again, maybe it was only about XBox.

Oh, I'm on PC, but I use the 360 pad. I figured it out just not. Your mention of "shift +" made me go back and look to see if anything was amiss and I notice the game had madeup a custom binding file... (not sure why or how it did), but I deleted it and selected "Default context" and it fixed it! Now I'm back to my normal crater making self
