General / Off-Topic Question about buying game on disc versus digital.

If I buy a game on disc for Xbox, is that effectively giving me a smaller download for install by grace of data on the disc?

I've never been too sure on this one, and I'm looking at the massive size of RDR2.

Yep-that was One of my reasons for going Disk...

There's still a Large Dl with disc also. I pick mine up on Tuesday.

I expect a big download of course, but if disc makes it just a few gigabytes smaller thanks to local installation, then I know what to go for.
