Question about decals and clear save

Greetings CMDRs,

I am thinking about wiping my commander slot and starting from scratch, however there is one thing that bothers me...

...when I do clear save, what is going to happen with all decals I have.

As I understand, the decals and paint jobs I've bought from FD Store should be there anyway, but what happens with the decals that have been given to me by FD (i.e. Fuel Rats, Boarder Coalition, etc). Will those be gone?

I've tried to search forums, asked many CMDRs, no one can give me a clear answer?

Yes, things you bought are bound to your account, not your current commander. Don't worry, you won't lose them.

Can't really tell you for certain on these, but I'd imagine they are tied to your account rather than commander. I would pretty much expect that's how FD have implemented them (hidden store items or some such).
