If you are killed, either in ship or on foot, before handing in your exobiology scans to Vista Genomics, do you lose it all?

Also, why do some outposts (like Morten's Paradise in Desy) say on the System Map that they have Vista Genomics active, when it doesn't even have an outlet on the concourse?

If your CMDR dies, you lose your exobiology data. Space data is tied to the ship, ground data is tied to the CMDR. So if you die on foot you don't lose your Cartographic data, but you do lose your exobiology data. If you die in your ship, you lose both.

There is a bug in the System map, services are not always accurate.
