Question about Fleet Carriers and Colonization

I've been poking around a bit and haven't found an answer to this yet. When transferring from Xbox to PC, I had to sell my FC. No big deal. And I've been cruising around without an FC since I came back in late October. But with the new Colonization update a few months out, I'm wondering what y'all think.

Will you only be allowed one FC? The new Colonization ships look like a FC, so I'm really wondering if Frontier are going to let both FCs and Colonization ships be owned by players. So I'm wonder which way its going to go. Are they going to make you sell your FC and buy a Colonizer? Or are they going to have the Colonizer be unpurchasable and it just appears when you're setting up your system? Or are you optimistic you'll get both?

I'm sitting on a lot of credits and I'd love to get my FC back, but if I have to sell it again to buy a Colonizer, I'm going to be ed about it.

What are your opinions on the matter? Have you heard something one way or another I haven't heard?

Colonization ships be owned by players

From what we know colonisation ships won't be owned by players, they will appear during the building of a station and will disappear after the station is finished, there is no ownership factor involved, they are purely a platform for dropping off materials for the construction process.

What are your opinions on the matter? Have you heard something one way or another I haven't heard?

I have heard what they said about it so far, it's subject to change until release of course, you don't own the colonisation ships and probably never will!
