Question about gaming hardware

My current setup is an X52, with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I'm considering getting a Trackir. In the opinion of those who have the device, does the ease of just looking towards the UI screens vice having to make some joystick inputs justify the cost?

It totally adds to the immersion, as well as greatly helping with combat.
Of course, if you really want immersion you could always go with the oculus rift like me! ; )

Also, voice attack is worth it to be able to go hotas

I love my Track-Ir. I bought it for flight sim's, but the ease of accessing menus and the increase in 'situational awareness' it provides is worth its weight in credits...

Grab one, you won't regret it...

I find the OR to be a little restrictive... Can't snack, can't sip my cuppa while in SC... I can see how it's fantastically immersive, but I like being able to find my cuppa without using the force... :)
