So the group play mode is basically just solo mode with friends, but there will be a similar feature for open mode right? So far I've really only played by myself, have an irl friend who has elite but he won't play until there aren't any more wipes. Just making sure that my friends and I will be able to wreak havoc in open play PVP action.

I've been playing with a large group of people and we meet up with each other in open play regularly so you'll be good to go to blast away with your friends in open play.
