Question about Horizon and payment

Hi there i have a question didnt know if it is allready answered cause i found nothing about it

I buyed Elite Dangerous in the first Beta before Release.
When i go to shop my version says Elite Dangerous - Beta

So know the question do i have to pay for the Horizon beta and for the Horizon addon or do i get it for free ???

Plz no spam or rude answers just facts plz

I think the ED Beta was for ED, and I read somewhere MB said if you want the Horizons early access you will need to pay the extra £10 for the beta version. Hope that helps.

I don't remember how it was with details but when I bought Premium Beta access I got Lifetime Expansion access with it as well, which means I don't have to pay for any future betas and expansion.
Was yours Premium Beta or just Beta access? I don't think the "Beta" access had Lifetime Expansion Pass included and that would mean that you have to pay for Horizons.

Ok dont know if it was premium beta it was a purchase during the beta before launch where you get the merc edition inclusive with the eagle ship

Powerplay i was able to play the beta too

I'm a Beta backer and joined in August last year. I'm not expecting any free updates but my friend was a premium beta backer and definitely does get the DLC's for free because he had to pay almost three times as much as I did.

If you aren't short on money and think you will still enjoy the game in five years you should consider the lifetime expansion pass. It's quite costly but you'll get beta access and all upcoming expansions, as long as you would buy them anyway I guess you'll save money.
